The Hartford Public Library's American Place can be a wonderful place for resources for immigrants. Anyone can go during open hours and chat with someone about programs that might work for them. And all library resources are always free! They offer English classes and appointments to speak with immigration lawyers.

In collaboration with The New York Historical Society, the Connecticut Historical Society offers free citizenship classes for Green Card holders.
SAWA(Hartford area refugee support group) is a non-profit group that supports refugees in the Hartford area. SAWA funds and organizes a free, weekly Zoom for Afghan and Syrian refugee women Thursdays at 1 o'clock. In addition, there is a WhatsApp group for all the participants for sharing information and questions throughout.
The Golden Door is a non-profit which aims to connect and refer Hartford area immigrants to programs and classes.
IRIS(Integrated Refugee and Immigrant Services) offers wrap-around support in language, employment, health, and legal services.
